Test Engineer
QA/Test
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Automated Test Equipment (ATE) programs, test hardware, fixtures, interfaces, and supporting software.
- Establish and validate test methodologies, operating conditions, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain test programs, test sequences, test limits, and measurement systems to ensure stable and repeatable test results.
- Define overall test strategies and architectures for new semiconductor products and systems.
- Perform product characterization, qualification, reliability testing, and production validation activities.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities from engineering development through pilot production and mass production.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations for electrical, functional, and test-related failures.
- Trouble shoot and resolve issues related to test equipment, hardware, software, fixtures, and products.
- Support yield improvement, test time reduction, cost optimization, and overall test efficiency enhancement.
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, work instructions, test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and engineering specifications.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting FAT, HFAT, CFAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ activities is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, engineering specifications, and work instructions.
- Hands-on experience with motion control systems, servo systems, and industrial automation equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC and industrial control systems.
- Good understanding of optics, sensors, instrumentation, vacuum systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, wafer handling systems, and robotic systems.
- Flexible and adaptable to support multiple assembly lines and product variants as required.
- Willing and eligible to travel to the oversea for training assignments when required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willing to work in the East Region, Changi North Crescent.
