*Job Description*

We are looking for an experienced and motivated *Framing Carpenter* to join our crew. This role focuses on residential and/or commercial wood framing, including structural layout and assembly. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced job site environment.

*Responsibilities*

• Perform wood framing including floors, walls, and roof systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and construction drawings
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
• Install structural components such as beams, joists, and trusses
• Ensure all work is level, square, and built to specification
• Work safely at heights and follow all site safety protocols
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Coordinate with crew members to keep projects on schedule

*Requirements*

• Proven experience in framing (residential or commercial)
• Strong understanding of building layout and structural framing methods
• Ability to read and follow construction drawings
• Comfortable using power tools and framing equipment
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Fall arrest certification (asset)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$36.00 per hour
