We are looking for a *skilled and motivated HVAC Installer* to join our growing team.

The Position

As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation, replacement, and commissioning of residential heating and cooling equipment. You will work as part of our installation team to ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to Northwind Heating's high standards.

Responsibilities

• Install residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and related equipment
• Complete equipment replacements and new installations
• Perform start-up, testing, and commissioning of newly installed equipment
• Ensure installations meet applicable codes, regulations, and manufacturer specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate professionally with homeowners while working in their homes
• Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous residential HVAC installation experience
• Strong knowledge of HVAC installation practices
• Experience installing furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and related equipment
• Knowledge of gas, electrical, refrigerant, and ductwork systems
• Ability to read and follow installation specifications
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and customer-service skills
• A valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• *Gas fitting B Ticket*

*Gas ticket, refrigeration certification, and other relevant HVAC certifications are strong assets.*
