Northwest 21 Ltd. is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Farm Worker to assist with our vegetable storage operations near Enchant, Alberta.

*Wage:* $25.00 per hour

*Primary Responsibilities:*

• Operate and monitor the bin piler during onion storage operations
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on the bin piler
• Identify and report equipment problems or safety concerns
• Assist with adjustments, minor repairs and preventative maintenance as required
• Help keep the storage area, equipment and surrounding work areas clean and organized
• Assist with general farm and yard duties when required
• Follow all company safety, food-safety and biosecurity procedures
• Work cooperatively with supervisors and other members of the farm team

*Qualifications and Requirements:*

• A valid Class 5 driver?s licence is required
• Previous farm or agricultural equipment experience is preferred
• Experience operating or maintaining farm machinery is considered an asset but not required
• Basic mechanical knowledge would be an asset but no required
• Must be dependable, punctual and able to follow instructions
• Must be comfortable working around moving equipment and in an agricultural storage environment
• Must be physically capable of performing general farm duties
• Must have reliable transportation to the worksite

The successful applicant must work safely, communicate effectively and be willing to assist with different duties as operational needs change.

Legally entitled to work in Canada. Employer sponsorship is not available. ( *No LMIA Available*)

*Must live locally or be willing and able to commute to work each day with reliable transportation. (No relocation package available)*
