Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tire Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and replacing tires on Truck tractors & trailers used in our Chip Haul Division. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will ensure that all tires are maintained for optimal safety and performance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires for damage, wear, and proper inflation to ensure safety standards are met
• Remove and replace tires using hand tools and power tools efficiently and safely
• Balance tires to prevent uneven wear and improve vehicle handling
• Perform routine maintenance on tire equipment and related tools
• Assist with heavy lifting of tires and equipment as needed to support project operations
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with team members about tire conditions and repairs
• Maintain accurate records of tire inspections, repairs, and replacements

Requirements

• Previous dealership or automotive mechanic experience is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle tires and basic automotive systems
• Experience using hand tools and power tools for tire repair and replacement
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely on a regular basis
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude
• Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and maintenance practices
