Senior Backend Engineer - Payment Platform

Your tasks

• Leading the development of ShopeePay E-wallet and acquisition system/platform, using cutting-edge technologies across multiple tech stacks.
• Acting as an experienced expert on various aspects such as large scale distributed system design, system performance optimization, system availability, system refactoring, etc.
• Design inter-system architecture for high concurrency platforms.
• Defining well-thought-out and balanced technical solutions.
• Build internal tools and automate internal systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems.
• Prior minimum 5 years of full time working experience as a backend engineer.
• Strong technical background in designing and developing large-scale distributed systems. Focusing on improving reliability and API automation.
• Strong hands on experience with backend tech stacks such as Golang, python, and Java.
• Strong knowledge of common tech stacks such as databases (MySQL) and typical middlewares (Nginx, Redis, Kafka, etc.), common RPC frameworks, etc.
