Transport and Luggage Assistant / Guest Services Attendant
Transport and luggage assistant wanted in Saariselkä! We are looking for a joyful, friendly, and customer-service-oriented Transport and Luggage Assistant to join the Northern Lights Village team. In this role, you will perform diverse customer service work – transporting guests, assisting with luggage, directing customers to activity departure points, and answering various questions. Your good-natured and helpful attitude will make our guests' stay even more pleasant!
Job duties:
- Greeting customers upon their arrival
- Assisting customers and answering questions
- Transporting customers within the resort area
- Carrying and transporting luggage
- Distributing winter gear to guests upon their arrival
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the Safari House
What do we expect from you?
- Experience in customer service, preferably in a similar role
- Fluent English language skills (oral and written)
- A valid B driving license
- Excellent customer service and interaction skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Driving skills in winter conditions
We consider the following as an advantage:
- First Aid certificate
- Experience working as a wilderness guide
- Language skills in addition to English
- Experience in the tourism and restaurant industry

About the Job We are seeking a joyful, kind, and entertaining Guest Services Attendant to join the Northern Lights Village. In this role, you will primarily be driving, assisting with luggage, guiding guests to their safari start point, and responding to various inquiries. Your charismatic character will be essential in ensuring our guests thoroughly enjoy their stay.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting guests upon entering
- Assisting guests with their inquiries
- Driving guests to / from the resort
- Helping to arrange transportation for guests
- Luggage handling
- Assisting guests with getting their winter gear upon arrival
- Keeping the Safari House tidy
Requirements
- Experience as a Guest Services Attendant or a similar position
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Valid B drivers’ license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
