Resort Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Resort Manager for the premium-level North Resort Oy to be responsible for the daily management of the tourism center and the comprehensive development of the business. In this role, you will lead staff, be responsible for a high-quality customer experience, safety, finances, and profitable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for business, personnel, safety, finances, and the premium-level service package.

Responsibility for leading and developing sales and marketing.

Optimization of occupancy rates and monitoring of sales.

Development and management of online sales channels and booking systems.

Budgeting, financial monitoring, and reporting.

Development of operational quality, customer satisfaction, and sustainability.

Collaboration with tourism partners, stakeholders, and authorities.

Regular reporting to the company's board.

What we expect from the applicant

Suitable education and experience in leading premium-level tourism, hotel, or service businesses.

Proven experience in supervisory work and service-oriented business development.

Good organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.

Fluent English language skills; other language skills are considered an advantage.

Readiness to work in a seasonal international operating environment.

Terms of Employment

The employment is a permanent contract.

Working hours: The employment follows the Working Hours Act and, where applicable, the Collective Agreement for the Tourism, Restaurant, and Leisure Services sector (MaRa TES).

The Resort Manager's regular working hours average 40 hours per week in accordance with working hour arrangements. The work is varied in nature and includes working in the evenings, on weekends, and on public holidays as required by operations.

The employment follows the Collective Agreement for the Tourism, Restaurant, and Leisure Services sector (MaRa TES).

A 6-month probationary period is applied in the employment in accordance with the Employment Contracts Act and the collective agreement.

Salary is determined by expertise, experience, and in accordance with MaRa TES.

The selected person must, before the start of employment, provide an acceptable medical certificate regarding their state of health.
