Job Description

We are looking for a driver-program guide for North Resort Oy. In your role, you will implement North Resort Oy's transport services and, together with other program guides, participate in the execution of safe and experiential program services for our international customers. Additionally, you will participate in the other operational activities of the tourism center as opportunities arise.

Key Tasks

• Customer transport safely and with a customer-oriented approach
• Daily inspection, maintenance, and cleanliness of the transport fleet

• Implementation of program services in the role of a guide during different seasons
• Guiding customers and providing safety instructions

• Assisting property, equipment, and maintenance tasks, such as snow removal, firewood supply, and other daily operational tasks
• Participation in other North Resort Oy customer service and operational tasks as needed

What we expect from the applicant

• Suitable education or experience in transport, tourism, program services, or guiding tasks
• A valid driving license of at least category C (category D or BE is considered an advantage)

• Good customer service and interpersonal skills
• Fluent English language skills; other language skills are considered an advantage

• Good physical fitness and health, as well as readiness to work in varying weather conditions
• Valid first aid training (EA1 and EA2) is considered a significant advantage. If training is not held, readiness to participate in first aid training organized by the employer is required.

• Commitment to the planning and following of North Resort Oy's safety instructions and safe operating practices.
• A desire to participate diversely in the resort's daily operations

Terms of Employment

• The employment is permanent or fixed-term depending on the position.
• Working hours are determined according to the shift schedule.

• The employment follows the collective agreement for Tourism, Restaurant, and Leisure Services (MaRa TES).
• A 6-month probationary period is applied in the employment in accordance with the Employment Contracts Act and the collective agreement.

• Salary is determined by competence, experience, and in accordance with MaRa TES.
• The selected person must provide an acceptable medical certificate of their health status before the start of employment.
