ICSS (PLC – Telecom) Specialist, Offshore
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and support ICSS and PLC systems.
Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and technical analyses.
Monitor system performance, alarms, and operational parameters.
Provide technical support for the planning and preparation of maintenance activities.
Ensure that technical documentation is accurate and up to date.
Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity requirements and procedures.
Support access-right management, software updates, backups, and cybersecurity reporting.
Participate in electrical isolation and de-isolation activities in accordance with approved procedures.
Support knowledge transfer and training of personnel on site.
Prepare technical reports and intervention records.
HSE & Cybersecurity
You will ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable HSE regulations, operating procedures, and industry standards.
You will also support the Local Industrial Cybersecurity Officer by assisting with:
Cybersecurity documentation and compliance.
Technical gap analyses and risk assessments.
Access-right management.
Software updates, antivirus implementation, and patch management.
Backup and restore processes.
Monthly and annual cybersecurity reporting.
Your Profile
We are looking for a professional who has:
Experience with ICSS, PLC, and automation systems.
Knowledge of industrial networks and cybersecurity.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
A structured and independent approach to work.
A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
The ability to work effectively in an offshore environment.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience with control systems.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Control System Specialist within the petrochemical industry or a related sector.
Relevant engineering or technical qualification.
Valid electrical certification.
Required training in accordance with the applicable Training Matrix.
Professional working proficiency in English.
