Market Analyst M/F

Your tasks

We are looking for a Market Analyst M/F for our client, a shipping company, as part of a replacement. Mission to be filled as soon as possible until 10/16, with the possibility of extension. Remuneration: 31 K euros gross/year depending on profile. Under the responsibility of the Trade Manager, you are in charge of monitoring and analyzing commercial performance. - Daily monitoring of performance tools and ensuring optimal filling of allocations; - Compiling and analyzing commercial data to establish filling forecasts; - Identifying potential anomalies and proposing corrective actions to the commercial teams; - Performing queries and reporting by market and by service for the lines; - Ensuring commercial and geopolitical monitoring to identify market developments and their impacts on activity; - Collecting and disseminating information related to the lines: routing, transit time, GRI, THC, surcharges, allocations, capacities, modifications of; - Participating in priority management in case of overbooking; - Preparing internal reports and providing support for internal or external presentations and meetings.

Requirements

With a Bachelor's or Master's degree, ideally in International Trade, Transport, or Logistics, you are comfortable with numbers and enjoy analyzing them. A first experience of at least 6 months in market analysis, sales, or marketing, ideally in the maritime sector, is appreciated. A recently graduated profile may also be suitable. You are proficient in office tools and have a good level of English. Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query is a plus. You are recognized for your rigor, your analytical and synthesis skills, your autonomy, and your proactivity. Your interpersonal skills and team spirit will allow you to work effectively with various stakeholders.
