Your tasks in aerospace:

• Responsibility for all alignment tasks during satellite development, integration, test, and launch; creation of the alignment plan, definition of measurement methods and sequences, coordination of budgets
• Execution and management of measurements with theodolites, laser trackers, photogrammetry, and Spatial Analyzer, as well as evaluation of results, creation of test reports, and discussion of results
• Participation in AIT reviews, creation of necessary procedures, and provision of inputs for the AIT plan and schedule; training of personnel and development of standards for alignment measurements
• Research and development of new alignment and measurement technologies, as well as strategic, forward-looking work with high cost and time awareness and early risk minimization

What you bring to Satellite Alignment:

• Completed engineering degree in surveying, aerospace, physics, or comparable, as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of optical measurements with theodolites, laser trackers, and photogrammetry
• Sound experience in alignment in aerospace including the necessary documentation, as well as proficient knowledge of Spatial Analyzer as a tool for measurement execution and analysis
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, high flexibility, as well as good conceptual and analytical skills; willingness to work occasional shifts and travel for business
• Fluent English in spoken and written form; German language skills are a great advantage
