Region Nordjylland Are you strong in the operation and maintenance of electrical installations, and do you have experience with SCADA, medium voltage, or high voltage? We are looking for a dedicated Technical Operations Specialist for our client in Region Nordjylland, where you will play a central role in the safe, stable, and efficient operation of electrical assets and BESS installations.
About the position As a Technical Operations Specialist, you will become part of a technical operations function, where you will work with the operation, maintenance, monitoring, and safe handling of electrical networks and installations. The role requires a person with a solid electrical technical understanding, who can take responsibility in operationally critical situations and simultaneously work structured with documentation, safety, and coordination.
You will, among other things, work with: Operation of electrical installations You will work with the operation of electrical networks, electrical installations, and technical assets, primarily via SCADA systems.
Planning of maintenance and outages You will plan and coordinate outages in connection with planned maintenance and work on or near electrical installations.
Troubleshooting and technical fault analysis You will handle technical incidents, faults, and corrective actions in collaboration with internal and external parties.
Switching plans, risk assessments, and work permits You will prepare and follow up on switching plans, risk assessments, and work permits with a focus on safe operation.
Collaboration and technical coordination You will collaborate with asset management, service partners, suppliers, grid companies, EPC organizations, and SCADA specialists.
You will be given a role with a high degree of autonomy, where your technical judgment, safety understanding, and ability to create structure will be crucial.
Your profile We would like to see that you have the following qualifications: Strong electrical technical background For example, as an engineer, maskinmester, authorized electrical installer, strong current technician, or equivalent.
Experience with electrical operation You have experience with the operation and maintenance of electrical installations, preferably within medium voltage or high voltage.
Experience with SCADA or technical monitoring You have worked with the monitoring of electrical assets and can react in a structured manner to alarms, faults, and operational deviations.
Understanding of electrical safety You have experience with switching plans, work permits, risk assessments, and safety procedures.
Interest in BESS You have an interest in or experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems and wish to work with the energy infrastructure of the future.
Understanding of documentation You can work structured with technical documentation, maintenance bases, and operational processes.
Professional English You can communicate in English in a technical context. Danish is an advantage.
As a person, you are technically strong, safety-conscious, and structured. You work independently, take responsibility, and thrive in a role where faults, operation, and safety must be handled with calm and precision.
Workplace and practical conditions The primary workplace is in Region Nordjylland. The role will primarily be office-based in a technical operations function, but onsite activities at electrical installations and BESS facilities in Denmark may occur. Security clearance may be required.
