HR Business Partner - Viking Assistance Group
Do you want to work broadly with HR in an international organization and at the same time be close to both the business and the people within it? Viking Assistance Group is now looking for an HR Business Partner for the operations in Fuengirola.
We are looking for you who have a broad HR background and thrive in a business-oriented role where you get to work with the entire HR area – from recruitment and onboarding to support for managers and employees, as well as the development of HR processes.
The role is located at our office in Fuengirola, and we would prefer that you are already resident in Spain.
About the role
As an HR Business Partner, you will become an important HR resource for our operations in Fuengirola. You will work closely with the organization and contribute with support in both daily HR operations and in the development of our working methods and processes.
The role is broad and suits you who appreciate the combination of operational HR work, recruitment, and business-oriented support.
Your tasks will include, among other things:
- Recruitment and support throughout the entire recruitment process
- Onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Ongoing HR support to managers and employees
- Support in the payroll process and administration related to employment, absence, compensation, and other HR-related documentation
- Support to managers in difficult employee conversations, follow-ups, and personnel matters
- Advising managers in situations where employees do not follow routines, do not perform their duties, or where other labor law issues need to be handled
- Work with employer branding and employee experience
- Competence and employee development
- Contributing to the development and streamlining of HR processes and routines
- Other HR-related issues based on the needs of the business
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for you who have experience in HR and recruitment and who want to take on broad responsibility in a business-oriented HR role.
You are confident in contact with both managers and employees and have the ability to independently drive your work forward. Since everyday life within HR can change quickly, we also believe that you are flexible, solution-oriented, and comfortable switching between different types of issues.
You have integrity, good judgment, and feel comfortable providing support in both everyday HR issues and more sensitive personnel matters.
We would prefer that you:
- Have experience in broad HR work, including recruitment
- Have relevant education in HR, personnel science, or equivalent
- Have experience with or a good understanding of payroll processes and HR administration
- Have experience in supporting managers in employee matters, difficult conversations, and follow-ups
- Speak one of the Scandinavian languages as well as English
- Are self-driven, structured, and trustworthy
- Thrive in an international and business-oriented environment
Experience from an international organization and previous experience of HR work in Spain is a merit.
Location
The position is located at Viking Assistance Group's office in Fuengirola, Spain, and the role requires local presence.
We therefore view candidates who are already resident in Spain particularly positively.
