Civil Engineer - BoP Manager (m/f/d) (Project Engineer)

The Concrete Tower business unit specializes in the planning, manufacturing, and installation of concrete & hybrid towers for wind turbines.

• Control and optimization of project costs to ensure that expenditures remain within budget. Identification of potential savings and implementation of cost control measures
• Ensuring contractually compliant implementation of the project during the "Civil Works" and "Site Readiness" phases
• Collaboration with Site Management to develop detailed project plans, including schedules and resource planning
• Ensuring that each construction site has the necessary resources (personnel, equipment, materials) to achieve project goals
• Tracking project progress at individual construction sites, creating reports, and communicating updates to relevant stakeholders
• Supporting BoP supervisors in solving construction problems or delays
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental specifications during all activities on the construction site
• Promoting communication between construction sites and other departments during the "Civil Works" and "Site Readiness" phases

• Completed studies in the field of engineering, construction project management, or a related subject; equivalent professional experience may be considered
• At least 5 years of experience in managing construction projects, preferably in the field of wind energy, renewable energies, or construction
• Proven competence in controlling and optimizing project budgets
• Experience in developing comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management
• Excellent problem-solving skills to quickly handle challenges and delays in the construction process
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective reporting and coordination with stakeholders at all levels
• Deep understanding of construction processes in the wind energy sector, relevant equipment, and industry-specific regulations
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and cost control tools
• Fluent English skills (at least B2-C1 level); knowledge of other languages (Spanish, German) is an advantage
• A valid driver's license in Germany is a requirement for this position
