Service Technician

Are you a technical talent with a passion for tinkering and traveling? Then this position is for you! For our Service & Support team, we are looking for a Service Technician who will work both in the workshop and on-site with maintenance and repairs to trailers for special and heavy transport.

As a Service Technician, you will work mainly in our workshop, but on average one day per week you will be on-site, sometimes even for a whole week. Your activities include: Performing planned maintenance and repairs on trailers in the workshop;

Diagnosing technical problems and performing appropriate repairs;

Maintenance and repair work at customer locations, within Europe and occasionally beyond;

Providing technical support to customers, including advice on the use and maintenance of trailers.

Minimum an mbo diploma in a technical direction, such as Mechatronica, Werktuigbouwkunde, Autotechniek or Landbouwmechanisatie;

Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and customers;

Proficiency in the English and German languages, both oral and written, or willing to follow a language training;

Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems;

Welding experience, preferably with certification, or willing to follow a course;

Willingness to travel regularly within Europe and occasionally beyond;

You love tinkering, know how to get things done and have a sense of responsibility;
