Field Service Engineer M/F

Caen / Normandy Sector

We are recruiting a Field Service Engineer to join an international player specializing in medical instrumentation.

Reporting to the After-Sales Service and based in the Caen sector, you will intervene directly at customer sites to ensure the proper functioning and availability of equipment.

The position is mainly based in Normandy, excluding department 27, with occasional travel to Brittany. Work is performed from your home, with regular travel in the field.

Your Missions

You will ensure the preventive and curative maintenance of equipment, perform diagnostics and troubleshooting, and also intervene during installations and commissioning.

You will ensure the follow-up of your interventions in the dedicated tools and manage your stock of spare parts.

You will be progressively led to intervene on several ranges of equipment. Technical training will be provided to allow you to develop your expertise on the different technologies.

Your Profile

You have technical training and initial experience in Field Service, maintenance, troubleshooting, or after-sales service on technical equipment.

Experience in the medical, biomedical, or laboratory sector is mandatory. Good knowledge of electronics and IT is also an asset.

Above all, we are looking for a field-oriented profile, autonomous and rigorous, with good analysis and diagnostic skills. Your ability to adapt and your appetite for highly technical environments will be essential to succeed in this position.

Professional English is mandatory in order to be able to communicate with international interlocutors and follow certain technical training sessions.

Conditions

The position is ideally based in Caen or its periphery, with travel mainly in Normandy and occasionally in Brittany.

The fixed remuneration will be defined according to the profile and experience, to which 10% variable pay and a company vehicle are added.

The position is on a "forfait jours" (day-rate) basis and also benefits from RTT, a CSE, and training support.
