Accountant

NOLAH is seeking an Accountant for full-time employment, with at least 3 years of experience in double-entry bookkeeping.

Main Responsibilities:

• Management and costing of import files, from order entry to completion of the import and final costing
• Management and monitoring of the correct transmission and characterization of documents via the MyDATA platform
• Entry of accounting documents
• Entry and reconciliation of bank transactions
• Reconciliation of customer and supplier balances
• Checking cash on delivery and communicating with shipping companies for compensations and pending issues
• Monitoring exchange rates and managing foreign currency purchase processes in cooperation with banks
• Communication with retail and wholesale customers regarding payment matters

Required Qualifications:

• University/Technical degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a company's accounting department with double-entry bookkeeping
• Experience in accounting entries, account reconciliations, and payment management
• Experience in import costing and management of the MyDATA platform will be considered a particularly important qualification
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, with emphasis on Excel
• Good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)
• Organization, consistency, responsibility, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple tasks
