Construction site Manager
Responsibility:
A Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and completing construction projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Project Planning & Management
- Plan and coordinate daily construction activities.
- Prepare work schedules and monitor project progress.
- Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
Supervise workers, subcontractors, and site activities.
- Ensure proper manpower and equipment are available.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and clients.
- Ensure compliance with MOM, BCA, WSH requirements, and other applicable regulations.
- Identify and control site hazards.
- Inspect completed works and arrange rectification where necessary.
- Coordinate inspections and testing.
- Monitor project costs, materials, manpower, and equipment.
- Control wastage and avoid unnecessary expenses.
- Check material requirements and coordinate procurement.
- Maintain site records, progress reports, inspection records, and other project documents.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve technical and site problems quickly.
- Allocate work and supervise site teams.
- Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure they follow project requirements.
- Coordinate manpower and work sequences.
- Ensure outstanding works and defects are rectified.
- Coordinate final inspections, testing, handover, and completion documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 yrs experience of relevant construction experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, site operations and Renovation works
- Good leadership with manpower
- Ability to coordinate with clients, consultant, engineers and Subcontractors.
- Good communication and problem solving skills.
- Able to receive the calls and reply on the text any time
- 6 days work week
- Sunday need to work
- Driving License required
