Lead Future Ready Portfolio Management

Role purpose: Lead and evolve a future-ready portfolio management capability that aligns strategy, investment, and delivery to maximize business value and measurable outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Own portfolio strategy, governance, and operating rhythm across initiatives, programs, and products.
• Prioritize demand and funding using value, risk, capacity, and dependency-based decision frameworks.
• Establish portfolio metrics (OKRs/KPIs), benefits tracking, and transparent executive reporting.
• Drive cross-functional alignment with business, technology, finance, and delivery leaders.
• Manage portfolio health: scope, schedule, budget, resource capacity, and risk/issue escalation.
• Improve portfolio processes and tooling (PPM/Agile tooling), ensuring data quality and auditability.
• Coach teams on portfolio practices, change adoption, and continuous improvement.

Required skills and experience

• Portfolio/program management leadership with strong strategic planning and execution experience.
• Expertise in prioritization, investment planning, financial governance, and benefits realization.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication, including concise storytelling with data.
• Proficiency with portfolio reporting, dashboards, and planning tools (e.g., PPM suites, Jira/ADO).
• Knowledge of Agile/Lean delivery models and managing dependencies across complex environments.
