Senior Engineer - AI Engineering, Computer Application Programmers Specialists

We require:

• University education in IT / data engineering or a related field
• at least 5 - 10 years of experience in data engineering and the development of production AI/data platforms
• advanced knowledge of Azure Fabric or Databricks, Python, SQL, PySpark
• experience with CI/CD (Git, Azure DevOps), ETL/ELT, MLOps, MLflow and data platform management
• orientation in the field of data governance, GDPR, EU AI Act, NIS2
• experience with industrial automation, PLC, MES, IoT and edge computing is an advantage
• English language at an advanced level
• willingness to travel approx. 50 days per year within the EU

Job description:

• design, development and management of secure data platforms and pipelines for AI solutions in the Azure environment
• integration of data from PLC/MES/IoT and enterprise systems
• creation of ETL/ELT processes, governance, data quality, observability and MLOps support
• collaboration with Data Science, production, technology teams and the AI Governance Board
• support for the company's industrial AI strategy
