  • Supporting pension, investment, tax and estate planning research
  • Completing relevant calculations and financial analysis to support recommendations
  • Updating cashflow modelling and other financial planning tools where required
  • Completing post-meeting fact finds and ensuring client information remains accurate and up to date
  • Supporting the implementation and ongoing servicing of client recommendations
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all work meets regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Working collaboratively with Client Managers, Administrators, Compliance and the wider advisory team
  • Keeping up to date with financial products, legislation and industry developments
  • Providing financial advice to clients when required, within the scope of your authorisation
  • Developing and managing your own client relationships where appropriate

About You

The successful candidate will have previous Paraplanning experience within an IFA or financial planning business, alongside the technical ability and confidence to take on a broader client-facing position.

You will ideally have:

  • A commitment to working towards Level 6 Chartered status
  • Previous experience preparing suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and wider financial planning principles
  • Experience undertaking investment and fund research
