Supervisor Purchasing

Position: Purchasing Supervisor Location: Bekasi (Bantargebang) Department: Procurement / Purchasing Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: Full WFO

About the Role We are looking for a Purchasing Supervisor to oversee procurement activities and ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient sourcing of materials, spare parts, and services. The ideal candidate has strong procurement expertise, project involvement in cost-saving initiatives, and the ability to lead purchasing operations while maintaining excellent relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, spare parts, and services.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency and operational excellence.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Lead and participate in procurement-related projects, particularly cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies and procurement procedures.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare procurement reports, analyze purchasing data, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Utilize SAP MM to manage procurement transactions and maintain accurate purchasing records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Purchasing Supervisor.
• Proven experience in procurement projects, preferably involving cost-saving initiatives.
• Experienced in purchasing various categories, including raw materials, spare parts, and services.
• Proficient in SAP MM (experience with SAP HANA MM is a plus).
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written, including business correspondence.
• Strong analytical thinking, negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willing to work full-time onsite in Bantargebang, Bekasi.
