As a Mechanical Engineer, you will develop 3D models and drawings for Dockingsystemen within the aviation, railway, and process industries. You translate designs into production and assembly drawings and contribute to the technical quality, safety, and manufacturability of custom solutions.

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer, you are responsible for developing 3D models and technical drawings of Dockingsystemen. You work under the guidance of a Lead Engineer and ensure accurate and timely technical development. You translate designs into practical and manufacturable solutions and monitor technical specifications.

You will participate in various projects and actively contribute ideas for improvements to processes and end products. Furthermore, your activities consist of:

• Collaborating with other Engineers within project teams.
• Modeling structures in 3D using SolidWorks or Tekla and developing quotation, production, and assembly drawings;
• Translating specifications into technical designs;
• Monitoring the quality and technical feasibility of the design;
• Identifying and proposing improvement and standardization suggestions;

• You are a precise and committed technician who enjoys developing technically complex solutions in great detail. You feel at home in a dynamic, project-based working environment and enjoy contributing to high-quality custom solutions. Furthermore, you bring the following experience and skills:
• A completed technical HBO education, for example Mechanical Engineering;
• Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawing, preferably with SolidWorks or Tekla;
• Experience within a technical, project-based environment is a plus;
• You are proficient in the English language, both spoken and written;
