Freight Forwarding Agent (m/f/d) – Ocean Freight Import/Export (Speditionskaufmann/-frau)

To strengthen our partner company, we are looking for a Freight Forwarding Agent (m/f/d) – Ocean Freight Import/Export at the earliest possible date.

Tasks:

• Independent processing of ocean freight orders (Import & Export)
• Coordination of transport processes including import and export clearance
• Communication with customers, partners, and agents domestically and abroad
• Negotiation of freight rates and conditions
• Processing of damage cases and complaints
• Support with billing and preparation of the monthly closing

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training as a Kaufmann/-frau für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistung
• Experience in ocean freight processing is an advantage
• Proficient use of MS Office
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
• Organizational skills, teamwork, and strong communication skills
• Numerical understanding and economic thinking
