GRC Specialist

The Role Our client is seeking an urgent requirement to join their Governance, Risk and Cyber team. This role will be initially a FTC with a strong likelihood of going permanent. The role requires you to be onsite in the office 4 days a week in Teesside. Key Responsibilities Provide additional capacity and expertise within the Governance, Risk and Cyber team. Ensure continuity across governance, cyber risk and compliance activities during the transition period. Governance, Risk, Compliance and Cyber responsibilities sit within the same functional area. The organisation utilises multiple specialist third-party suppliers for security operations and cyber services. Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities are outsourced. The successful individual will act as the internal coordinator and owner of supplier relationships, ensuring security services and platforms operate effectively The role will support cyber governance, risk management, incident coordination and compliance activities rather than deep technical cyber engineering.
