Ecommerce and Marketing Assistant
The Business Our client is a growing premium consumer brand with a strong online presence and ambitious growth plans. Selling directly to customers through its e-commerce platform and selected online marketplaces, the business combines high-quality products with a modern digital-first approach. Based in Salford, they are now looking to recruit an organised and enthusiastic E-Commerce & Marketing Assistant to support the day-to-day running of their online store and digital marketing activity. The Role This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within e-commerce and digital marketing. Working closely with the wider marketing team, you will gain hands-on experience across website management, email marketing, content creation, social media and digital campaigns. The role would suit an individual with strong attention to detail who enjoys working across a variety of digital platforms and is keen to build their experience within a fast-paced commercial environment. Duties include: Support the day-to-day management of the company's e-commerce website, ensuring product information and content are accurate and up to date. Assist with product launches, website updates and promotional campaigns. Help create and schedule email marketing campaigns and customer communications. Produce and adapt content for social media, email and website channels using Canva and other digital tools. Support marketing activity through research, content planning and campaign coordination. Assist with creator, influencer and partnership outreach. Monitor competitor activity and identify trends within the market.
Person Exposure to both e-commerce and digital marketing Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Excel or Google Analytics would be advantageous. Good written and verbal communication skills. Experience using Shopify or a similar e-commerce platform. Confidence creating content using Canva. A basic understanding of social media and digital marketing channels.
