Commercial Finance Analyst

About the company

Nigel Wright are currently supporting a Hull based business with their interim Commercial Finance Analyst requirement. This role will be on an initial 3 month contract basis.

Your tasks

As Commercial Finance Analyst, you will:

• Provide commercial finance support and insight to key stakeholders across the business.
• Produce accurate reporting, analysis and commentary to support business performance.
• Analyse trends and data to identify key risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Support the budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Produce forward-looking analysis across areas such as sales, margin and performance.
• Work closely with Finance and Business Intelligence teams to develop and improve financial dashboards and reporting.
• Support the development of analytical reports, ensuring data is accurate and commercially meaningful.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across Commercial Finance processes and reporting.

Requirements

The Candidate To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be part qualified or newly qualified in ACCA, CIMA or ACA.
• Have strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Be confident working with large volumes of data and turning analysis into clear commercial insights.
• Be comfortable challenging assumptions and bringing new ideas to the table.
• Be able to work collaboratively and deliver to tight deadlines.
• Have a good understanding of business processes, systems and commercial drivers.
• Be confident using Microsoft Office packages.
• Be available on short notice
