Must-have:AIE-CommerceSeniorLead

NIQ is the world's leading consumer intelligence company, delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior and revealing new pathways to growth. NIQ Digital Shelf is our e-commerce analytics solution, used by leading brands around the world to monitor and improve their performance across retailer websites, marketplaces and apps. Most digital shelf tools tell brands what changed; NIQ Digital Shelf tells them why it changed, what it cost them and what to do next, by connecting location-level digital shelf data to NIQ's sales, shopper and media intelligence.

As Director of Product you are the single owner of NIQ Digital Shelf: its vision, roadmap, commercial performance and product team. You lead a global team of Product Owners and UX designers and partner closely with Engineering, Data Science, Operations, Customer Success, Commercial and Product Marketing to deliver value to clients.  E-commerce is being reshaped by AI-driven discovery, marketplace complexity and brands' demand for recommendations rather than dashboards. You will define how NIQ Digital Shelf wins in that environment and how it leverages NIQ's unique data assets, and you will be accountable for turning that strategy into shipped product, growing client relationships and a high-performing product organization. roduct Vision and Strategy  Own and evolve the multi-year vision for NIQ Digital Shelf as the connected intelligence layer for e-commerce performance, aligned with NIQ's strategy and revenue ambitions.

Define where the product plays and how it wins, including its response to AI-driven and agentic discovery, informed by a deep understanding of the market and competitive landscape.

Champion the integration of NIQ's broader data assets and an open partner ecosystem to deliver insight and actionability that stand apart in the market.

Roadmap Ownership and Delivery  Own the global product roadmap end to end: discovery, prioritization, business cases, delivery and post-launch measurement.

Balance investment across client needs, differentiating innovation and platform health, and make explicit, well-communicated trade-offs.

Deliver a steady cadence of high-quality releases in partnership with Engineering, Data Science and Quality, and shape packaging and pricing recommendations with Commercial and Finance.

Commercial Impact  Own product outcomes: revenue growth, retention, adoption and client satisfaction. Define and track the KPIs that demonstrate the product's commercial impact.

Partner with Commercial, Customer Success and Product Marketing on positioning, sales enablement and launch plans, and translate client feedback and win/loss learnings into roadmap priorities.

Engage directly with global CPG clients and prospects, including executive sponsors and strategic RFPs, to understand needs, validate direction and support deals.

Team and Stakeholder Leadership  Lead, coach and grow a global team of Product Owners and UX designers; set clear goals, raise the bar on product craft and build succession depth.

Foster a collaborative, inclusive and outcome-oriented culture across product, engineering, quality, support and client-facing teams.

Serve as the voice of the product to NIQ senior leadership and across NIQ's e-commerce portfolio: report on progress, KPIs, risks and investment needs with clarity and candor, and align global strategy with regional commercial priorities.

Required  8+ years of progressive experience in product management, e-commerce or digital commerce, including ownership of strategy and delivery for a data or analytics product.

Deep domain expertise in digital shelf and e-commerce analytics: availability, search and visibility, content, pricing and promotion, ratings and reviews, marketplace dynamics, and retail media.

Significant exposure to CPG or consumer goods manufacturers, with a working understanding of how e-commerce, sales, insights, marketing and category teams operate and make decisions.

Demonstrated ability to translate market and client needs into a prioritized roadmap and business case, and to ship complex products with cross-functional engineering, data science and design teams.

Strong commercial acumen: comfortable with revenue targets, pricing and packaging, and executive client conversations.

Fluency in modern AI and data concepts and the judgment to apply them where they create client value.

Exceptional communication and influencing skills across a global, matrixed organization; comfortable leading a distributed, international team.

Leadership Experience  We strongly prefer candidates who have managed and developed a team of product managers. We will also consider exceptional candidates who bring the same outcomes through a different route: commercial or customer success leaders in e-commerce analytics who have owned the definition and launch of products, not only sold them; engineering or data leaders who have owned product outcomes and demonstrated strong commercial judgment; or leaders who have run digital shelf or e-commerce performance inside a CPG manufacturer or retailer and understand, from the buyer's seat, what a great product must do.  Preferred  Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered or LLM-based product features.

Familiarity with market research, panel or syndicated sales data and with retail media platforms.

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of £86,000 – £96,000 basic salary. Actual compensation will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills and location. This role is also eligible for a performance-based bonus.
