Internship in Procurement Cooling Solutions

The scope of the Procurement Cooling Solutions area is the development of suppliers and components for condensing and sealed units on a global basis.

Responsibilities and assignments

• Provide support in the development, certification, and management of suppliers and raw materials;
• Assist in the technical analysis of product and process requirements;
• Technically align project specifications and expectations with suppliers and collaborate in the evaluation of potential suppliers;
• Assist in supplier certification with other areas (Quality, Logistics, R&D, and Processes), supporting the definition of tests and parameters;
• Support the execution and monitoring of internal and external tests;
• Monitor the stability of the production process during the first supply batches;
• Support the identification and analysis of cost reduction opportunities in the supply chain (specification changes, material changes, design, multiple sourcing, make or buy analysis, as-is cost/should cost analysis, and component standardization);
• Provide technical support to R&D, Sales, and Manufacturing teams for purchased components;
• Collaborate in the preparation of business cases for project feasibility analysis;
• Request and monitor samples and quotations with suppliers;
• Assist in the control of prices and invoices.

Requirements and qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering;
• Proactive profile, good communication, positioning, and openness to learning;
• Good logical and analytical reasoning;
• Advanced English;
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The following are desirable requirements for the position:

• Knowledge of Qlik Sense.
