*Job Overview*
NHI Nursing Agency is a growing healthcare staffing and home care organization providing qualified *Registered Nurses ( RNs), Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Personal Support Workers (PSWs)* to healthcare organizations and community clients.
We are seeking an experienced and professional *Part-Time Nursing Supervisor* to provide clinical leadership, staff oversight, quality assurance, and support to our nursing and personal support workers.
*Position Summary*
The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for providing clinical supervision and support to nursing and PSW staff, ensuring that services are delivered safely, professionally, and in accordance with applicable regulatory, contractual, organizational, and quality standards.
This position is ideal for an experience RN who enjoys a leadership role and is looking for a *part-time opportunity of approximately 15 hours per week*
*Key Responsibilities*
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to RNs, RPNs and PSWs.
- Monitor staff performance, professionalism, attendance, and compliance with agency policies.
- Conduct regular clinical follow-up with assigned staff and clients as required.
- Review client care documentation, progress notes, incident reports, and other clinical records.
- Support the development and implementation of individualized care plans and follow up with APRs and HPGs.
- Respond to clinical concerns, complaints, incidents, and escalated client-care issues.
- Ensure appropriate follow-up and corrective actions are completed.
- Assist with staff orientation, education, competency assessments, and ongoing training.
- Support quality improvement and patient/client safety initiatives.· Monitor compliance with infection prevention and control requirements.
- Participate in audits of client charts and clinical documentation
- Collaborate with Staffing Supervisors and management team to address staffing clinical concerns
- Support compliance with CNO standards, Ontario legislation, privacy requirements, health and safety requirements, and agency policies.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and accreditation initiatives.
- Provide clinical support during urgent or complex situations
- Maintain accurate and confidential records
*Qualifications*
*Required: *
- Registered Nurses (RN) with good standing with College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably including supervisory or leadership experience.
- Previous experience home care, community care, acute carehospital an asset
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, documentation, client safety, and quality improvement.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound clinical judgment.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic documentation systems.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.

Pay: $50.00-$55.00 per hour
