Recording vehicle identification numbers (VIN), matching manifest details, and noting any discrepancies or missing accessories

Ensuring vehicles meet port and vessel safety guidelines, particularly for fuel status or specialized handling (such as electric vehicles)

Working alongside driving crews (car jockeys/stowage teams) and vessel officers to ensure safe and orderly transit on and off the ship decks

Inspect vehicles and verify documentation in port terminal operations.
