Destination Experience Representative - 6-month Temporary

Your impact in this role: You will be the main point of contact for guests during their destination experience, ensuring exceptional service from their arrival until their return. You will work closely with hotels, DMCs, and international teams to anticipate needs, resolve situations, and guarantee a consistent, high-level experience. What you will actually do: • Receive and provide guidance to guests upon their arrival at the airport and during their stay at the destination. • Ensure a seamless experience in transfers, hotels, and different guest touchpoints. • Proactively resolve incidents related to hotels, rooms, services, emergencies, and other situations that may affect the guest experience. • Make autonomous decisions to resolve problems and recover the guest experience when necessary. • Build and maintain professional relationships with hotels and strategic partners at the destination. • Coordinate with international teams from WestJet Vacations and Sunwing Vacations to handle inquiries and follow up on guest situations. • Conduct airport briefing sessions and welcome orientations at hotels. • Collect and communicate guest feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of the experience. • Maintain constant communication regarding changes in hotels, products, services, upgrades, and any relevant destination information. • Act as a brand ambassador, representing its values in every interaction with guests and partners. How your success is measured: • Guest satisfaction and experience. • Effective and timely resolution of incidents. • Compliance with service and operation standards. • Quality of communication and collaboration with hotels, DMC, and international teams. • Ability to anticipate and act proactively regarding destination situations. What we are looking for in you: • Minimum 2 years of experience in guest service or customer service, preferably in direct contact positions. • Fluent English, indispensable, both spoken and written. • French is desirable. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and maintain availability to provide support to our guests at any time required during the season. • High autonomy, responsibility, and decision-making ability. • Flexibility and adaptation to changing situations. • Experience conducting presentations or briefing sessions in front of groups, desirable. • Intermediate-advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Experience using Apple devices (Mac and iPhone). • Studies in Tourism, Hospitality, or related experience in the tourism industry, desirable. • Valid driver's license and availability to drive at the destination. • Availability to drive daily between different hotels and destinations (Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Rivera Maya). This role is not for you if: • You prefer positions with completely established schedules and little flexibility regarding operational needs. • You do not feel comfortable making decisions autonomously in unexpected situations. • You prefer a completely administrative position without direct contact with guests. • You do not have fluent English. • You do not have a valid driver's license or do not have availability to drive between hotels.
