NEXTON is recruiting a Senior Data Scientist M/F, in CDI, in Paris!

Your future work environment:

We need a Senior Data Scientist profile who will be involved in the design of ML models for identified use cases in connection with the PO/BA of the relevant squads as well as the Dev team, within an agile framework. The Data Scientist is expected to have strong technical skills but also solid knowledge in project management (task tracking, facilitation, presentation of progress, scoping, ...) to carry the entire project production chain.

Your missions:

• Work on business use cases with the squad: operational breakdown, technological foundation and adapted algorithms, research for relevant data, methodological approach.
• Lead the exploration and prototyping phases: data analysis, testing different algorithms, performance evaluation.
• Lead the development of use cases: model optimization, pipeline construction, production deployment, implementation of monitoring.
• Construction of algorithms allowing for the improvement of search and targeting results, or prediction models in order to anticipate data evolutions and trends.
• Industrialize the deployment of ML or AI products in different environments and ensure their RUN.
• Popularize results/deliverables to a non-technical audience.

You have +7 years of experience in:

• programming (Python, Scala, Bash), CI/CD, Git versioning, unit tests, AWS
• Statistical techniques and machine learning (adapting an algorithm to a specific problem)
• Statistical & Machine Learning libraries: Sklearn, Caret, pandas/data.table, numpy, PySpark, etc.
• Knowledge of at least one environment (language + package) allowing for the experimentation and prototyping of applications

And you have:

• Strong skills in quantitative analysis and numerical optimization
• An ability to propose simple solutions to complex problems
• A real ease in popularizing results to non-technical audiences
• Excellent interpersonal skills and active listening of business needs
• Fluent English, both spoken and written
