NEXTON is recruiting a Senior Java Developer M/F on a CDI contract in Lille!

Your future work environment:

For one of our retail clients, you will join a digital team composed of developers and product owners while being close to the business.

Your missions:

Automation and optimization of processes:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Camunda workflows for business process automation.
• Identify pain points in existing processes and implement solutions to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency.
• Support the introduction of scoring mechanisms and intelligent automation (supplier dashboards, algorithms...).
• Ensure best practices in process automation within the platform teams.

Backend development & technical implementation

• Design and develop Camunda BPMN processes integrated into a microservice architecture.
• Ensure observability, monitoring, and traceability of automated workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate process automation with predictive models and scoring algorithms.
• Optimize the performance and reliability of workflows at scale.

Collaboration & knowledge sharing

• Act as an advocate for process orchestration and automation within the platform.
• Share Camunda expertise and best practices with other teams.
• Participate in Automation SIGs and other knowledge-sharing initiatives.

You have at least 8 years of experience in JAVA development from version 17 and 21 with Springboot expertise. You have extensive knowledge of Camunda and microservices environments (Kafka). You have strong skills in continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc. You possess strong expertise in the GCP environment. You know version control tools (Git, SVN). You have experience in RESTful API integration and managing HTTP requests via Angular. You are accustomed to performing unit and integration tests (Jasmine, Karma, Protractor). You practice security best practices (OWASP, API security, data encryption). You speak professional English, allowing you to communicate in an international context.
