NEXTON is recruiting a Business Analyst Data & AML Compliance M/F, in CDI, in Paris!

Your future working environment:

We are recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to support a leading international banking player as part of a global, multi-year program to transform financial risk surveillance (deployed across the EMEA, APAC, and AMER regions). Integrated into the Financial Security & Anti-Money Laundering (AML) hub and dedicated to the financial markets business line (Global Markets), your role consists of strengthening the functional and analytical capabilities of the teams. You will work on optimizing the Transaction Monitoring system and leveraging data to create decision-making indicators and enhanced controls.

Your missions:

• You collect, analyze, and formalize business requirements from operational teams, Compliance, and IT to evolve the Transaction Monitoring system.
• You write detailed functional specifications, process mapping, and associated project documentation.
• You analyze complex data flows related to market activities, identify quality gaps, and define target control and surveillance rules.
• You design, industrialize, and ensure the reliability of performance indicators (KPIs), risk metrics, and decision-making reporting (Business Intelligence).
• You participate in defining the functional testing strategy, writing test cases, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• You ensure fluid and cross-functional communication between market business teams (Global Markets), financial security, and technical delivery teams.

With a Master's degree or higher (Engineering school, Business school, or University Master's in Market Finance, Information Systems, or Data), you have at least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis within the banking or financial sector.

You demonstrate a strong Data orientation and solid practice in data analysis, KPI construction, and decision-making reporting.

Ideally, you possess good knowledge of financial market activities (Global Markets) as well as the regulatory challenges of Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing (AML-CTF).

You perfectly master functional analysis methodologies, requirement formalization, and structured documentation writing.

You demonstrate excellent analytical rigor, a developed critical sense, and a natural ability to simplify complex issues.

You express yourself fluently in English, both orally and in writing, which is essential for collaborating in a multi-region international environment (EMEA, APAC, AMER).
