Cryptography / Side-Channel Engineer (M/F)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Our client is a leading innovator specializing in software and hardware security. The company has developed a strong international presence. As part of its business growth, our client is looking for a: Cryptography / Side-Channel Engineer (M/F) Permanent Contract - BORDEAUX (33) - FROM 55K

As a specialist in side-channel attacks, you will hold the position of technical referent and will be in contact with clients from all over the world to present the company's solutions. You will be in direct contact with clients, from the pre-sales phase through to training and technical support. You will also contribute to promoting the company's solutions during events and provide strategic field feedback to drive product development.

Your missions will consist of:

• Managing pre-sales activities with potential clients: qualification, demonstrations, proof of concept, training.
• Providing pre-sales technical support by answering client questions and assisting them in taking control of the platforms.
• Reporting client needs to improve products.
• Participating in trade shows, conferences, and webinars to promote the platform and exchange with industry players. You will notably be required to travel to meet clients and understand their needs (2 to 3 business trips per quarter).
• Contributing to short-term hardware security evaluation projects, and writing technical reports for clients.

REQUIRED PROFILE:

You possess excellent interpersonal / writing skills and demonstrated abilities to communicate effectively and present convincingly. You are motivated and capable of working independently to achieve set objectives, while proactively contributing to the team.

Sought profile: Ideally, you have a Master's or a PhD in computer science (or a related field), with more than 4 years of experience in physical attacks (SCA, FI...) and embedded security functions.

Required skills:

• You master side-channel analysis, from hardware configuration to security key extraction.
• You have solid knowledge in cryptography, with the ability to popularize complex concepts.
• Good knowledge of microarchitectures.
• Experience in reverse engineering is appreciated.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
