Import Transit Agent M/F

Your office NEXTEP HR LE HAVRE is recruiting an Import Transit Agent M/F as part of a CDI (permanent contract). Our partner is a human-sized maritime freight forwarder based in Le Havre, developing its import operations service. Your missions will be as follows:

• Manage import files from end to end: from file setup with booking establishment, to file closure and invoicing.
• Open and compile import files: documents / necessary instructions / organization and ordering of subcontracting between the supplier and the departure terminal.
• Administratively manage the file: filing the file with customs / checking the B/L / sending documents to clients and suppliers, etc.
• Management of simple disputes in consultation with the operations manager and/or agency manager.

Working conditions / benefits: fixed remuneration according to experience / 13th month / profit-sharing bonus / Restaurant Vouchers / CSE.

Coming from a professional qualification or higher education (Bac +2 / Bac +3) in transport or logistics and transport management, you have a successful first experience in a similar position. You have knowledge of international transport and the related law. You are rigorous, organized, and reactive. Incoterms have no secrets for you and you master English (written and/or oral).
