Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare, inspect, test, maintain, and repair commercial diving equipment and associated systems.
Maintain and service diving helmets, masks, umbilicals, regulators, breathing-air systems, compressors, gas panels, cylinders, communication systems, and related equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment faults.
Carry out routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
Ensure diving equipment is properly calibrated, certified, and fit for service.
Maintain accurate equipment inspection, maintenance, repair, and certification records.
Monitor consumables, spare parts, tools, and equipment inventory.
Ensure equipment is stored, handled, transported, and maintained in accordance with company procedures.
Participate in equipment testing, pressure testing, function testing, and commissioning as required.
Identify potential equipment failures and report safety or technical concerns to the Supervisor / Manager.
Follow applicable company HSE procedures, diving regulations, client requirements, and industry standards.
Participate in toolbox meetings, risk assessments, and safety briefings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Perform other duties related to diving equipment and operations as assigned.
Qualification and Requirements: Technical certificate, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Relevant experience in commercial diving equipment maintenance or marine technical operations.
Understanding of IMCA Requirements
Experience with diving support equipment, breathing-air systems, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and associated tools.
Knowledge of inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair procedures for commercial diving equipment.
Familiarity with applicable commercial diving regulations, equipment standards, and manufacturer requirements.
Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, schematics, and equipment documentation.
Relevant commercial diving or diving-equipment certifications are an advantage.
Offshore/marine experience is preferred.
