Next Chapter Talent LimitedWalsallreedpublished 11/04/2026

Next Chapter Talent is recruiting on behalf of a well-established property management organisation for a Property Administrator to provide dedicated administrative support to its Tenancy Property Management team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and an interest in residential property to join a busy team in a varied and rewarding role.

Working closely with the Property Manager, you will be the main administrative support for the tenancy team, helping to keep the day-to-day management of a residential property portfolio running smoothly. Your responsibilities will cover all aspects of the tenancy process, including new tenancies, renewals, inspections, maintenance, compliance and general property administration.

The role will also involve some reception and front-of-house responsibilities, along with occasional administrative support to the Block Management team.

If you enjoy a varied role, are naturally organised and take pride in providing a good service to others, this could be an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated administrative support to the Tenancy Property Management team, working closely with the Property Manager.
  • Assist with the administration of residential properties from initial tenancy applications through to renewals and tenancy terminations.
  • Prepare tenancy paperwork, coordinate referencing and liaise with solicitors regarding tenancy agreements.
  • Arrange property appraisals, inventories, inspections and safety checks.
  • Help ensure property and tenancy compliance requirements are met and records are kept up to date.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests, obtain contractor quotations and liaise with suppliers and service providers.
  • Assist with rent reviews, deposit queries, insurance claims and utility arrangements.
  • Deal with general enquiries from tenants, landlords, contractors and other contacts.
  • Provide reception support, including answering calls, welcoming visitors and managing general correspondence.
  • Offer occasional administrative support to the Block Management team.
  • Maintain accurate records using the organisation's property management systems.

About You

You will be an organised, approachable and reliable individual who enjoys working in a busy environment and can confidently manage a varied workload.

Ideally, you will have:

  • At least one year's experience in property administration, residential property management or a similar administrative role.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with a friendly and professional telephone manner.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks, manage competing deadlines and work independently.
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the confidence to deal with a variety of people.
  • A genuine commitment to providing a professional and helpful service.

Previous reception or front-of-house experience would be an advantage.

Knowledge of HORIZON or QUBE property management systems would be beneficial, as would an ARLA/MARLA qualification, although neither is essential.

An interest in residential property and a willingness to develop your knowledge of tenancy legislation, landlord responsibilities and property compliance would also be welcomed.

Working Hours and Benefits

  • Monday to Friday, 9:15am – 5:30pm.
  • 20 days' annual holiday, plus bank holidays.
  • Company benefits.

If you have previous administration experience, enjoy working with people and are looking for a varied role where you can develop your knowledge of residential property management, we would love to hear from you.
