Your tasks

About the role

As Process Engineer Lithography, you will be responsible for ensuring stable, capable, and reproducible lithography processes in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. You will drive process improvements, solve complex technical challenges, support the introduction of new technologies, and work closely with production, maintenance, quality, and development teams to achieve excellence in safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.

This is your new role

Ensure stable, capable, and reproducible lithography processes in daily semiconductor manufacturing operations

Monitor and improve process performance using SPC, process capability indicators, and manufacturing data analysis

Investigate process deviations, non-conforming lots, and yield excursions and drive sustainable corrective actions

Identify process-related quality issues and support continuous yield and defect reduction initiatives

Support root-cause analysis activities using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 5Why and 8D

Define, execute, analyze, and document experiments to improve process capability, productivity, quality, and cost performance

Support qualification, release, and implementation of new processes, materials, and equipment

Contribute to process change management, industrialization projects, and technology transfers into production

Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, OCAPs, specifications, and training materials

Conduct technical training and knowledge sharing for production teams

Participate in FMEA activities and support risk assessment and mitigation measures

This is you

University degree in Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microsystems Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline

First professional experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or a comparable high-tech production environment is advantageous

Knowledge of lithography processes and semiconductor manufacturing technologies is desirable

Strong analytical thinking skills combined with a structured and systematic working approach

Passion for solving technical problems and driving continuous improvement

Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment

Strong communication and teamwork skills

High level of ownership, initiative, and accountability

Practical mindset combined with attention to detail and quality orientation

Good German and English communication skills, both written and spoken
