Technical Business Analyst |Central

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to bridge business and technology teams in delivering enterprise applications, analytics and digital platform solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, engineers and data specialists throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and map current- and future-state business processes.
• Perform data analysis and write SQL queries where required.
• Support Agile Scrum delivery, backlog prioritisation and sprint activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define and deliver scalable solutions.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), track defects and manage requirement changes.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment between business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Experience delivering enterprise applications, analytics or data platform projects in an Agile environment.
• Strong requirements gathering, business process mapping and data analysis skills, including SQL.
• Familiarity with BPMN, Jira, Confluence or equivalent tools.
• Experience supporting UAT and defect management.
• Good communication, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
• Understanding of system integrations, APIs and enterprise data flows.
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred: Consulting experience or experience delivering projects for public-sector clients.
