Senior Software Quality Engineer | Contract

Job Responsibilities

• Champion product quality and QE best practices in an agile development environment
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to make sure the product is built right
• Validate product features against acceptance criteria
• Design, build, and maintain the test environment, test framework, test plans, regression suites, and test cases as requirements change
• Find and fix blind spots and edge cases in test coverage
• Carry out manual, automated, functional, exploratory, cross-platform, and performance testing across iOS, Android, and Web
• Run system integration tests with external systems and produce test reports
• Work with developers to set up and improve the Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in quality engineering or a related role
• Strong grounding in test methodologies, with sharp analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Playwright, Cucumber, Selenium, Appium)
• Working knowledge of Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
• Experience in non-functional testing, including security, performance, and load testing
• Good understanding of mobile (iOS and Android with React Native) and web technologies (e.g. React.js, Node.js), and their debugging tools
• Solid unit testing skills using JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha, Jasmine)
