Procurement Executive (Buyer) | Job ID: FS26002

Job Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and blanket orders for direct materials based on production and material requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers on PO acknowledgement, delivery schedules, and overdue orders to minimise supply disruptions.
• Monitor material shortages, excess inventory, and potential supply risks, escalating issues where required.
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, QA, Finance, and Engineering teams on procurement and material-related matters.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and lead times, and maintain accurate records within the MRP/ERP system.
• Support supplier performance reviews and improvement initiatives, including follow-up on recurring delivery or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier information, including pricing, lead times, MOQ, order quantities, supplier details, and delivery status.
• Prepare rolling year supplier forecasts based on production requirements and loading plans.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders on inbound and outbound air and sea shipments.
• Provide regular shipment and delivery updates to the production and planning teams.

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or material planning.
• Good analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify potential supply issues and take timely action.
