Job Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to client-facing design development across all project phases — concept design, design development, and technical documentation
- Prepare and coordinate detailed 2D drawings, construction details, and authority submission drawings using AutoCAD
- Develop and review high-quality 3D models, visualisations, and renderings to support design studies, presentations, and client sign-off
- Convert design concepts into practical, buildable solutions that align with budget, schedule, and fabrication requirements
- Work closely with Project Managers, fabricators, contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure design intent is executed accurately
- Take an active role in client meetings, design presentations, and technical discussions
- Carry out regular site visits to track progress, review shop drawings and samples, and address design or coordination issues
- Provide guidance to junior designers through drawing reviews and informal mentorship
- Research materials, finishes, systems, and construction methods to support project needs and drive innovation
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related built environment field
- 10 years of relevant professional experience in architectural and/or interior design within Singapore
- Strong command of AutoCAD for construction documentation
- Proficiency in 3D modelling and rendering tools such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Rhino, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar
- Sound knowledge of materials, detailing, fabrication techniques, and construction processes
- Prior experience in a design-and-build setting is highly advantageous
