Business Analyst|Data Protection|Government|Contract

Your tasks

• Plan and conduct assessments relating to data security risk management and personal data protection.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to establish secure and compliant data-sharing arrangements.
• Support data incident management and enterprise data risk management activities.
• Review, develop and communicate data governance policies, standards, frameworks, procedures and guidelines.
• Liaise with government agencies on data protection, data security queries and related submissions.
• Ensure data protection, privacy and security requirements are integrated into daily business operations.
• Conduct research, impact analysis and track success metrics to improve data governance processes.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Business Management, Law, Information Management, Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:

Data governance, data protection or data security. Development of data policies, standards, frameworks and procedures. Information or records management, data lifecycle management or master data management. Risk assessments, IT audits or business audits. Data incident management and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in data governance, data protection, cybersecurity, data privacy, incident management or related fields.
• Familiarity with Singapore Government IM8 policies and compliance requirements.
