Software Developer C Simulation/ Embedded Systems, all genders
Do you want to develop complex simulation software and low-level applications for autonomous technical systems? As a Software Developer C Simulation / Embedded Systems (all genders), you will work on sophisticated solutions for safety-critical application areas. You will accompany the software throughout its entire lifecycle, from requirements and architecture to integration and maintenance. In doing so, you will actively shape modern simulation models, frameworks, and embedded software.
- You design, develop, and implement simulation models for technical devices, systems, and their operating environments.
- You develop software in modern C and integrate low-level as well as embedded components.
- You improve simulation frameworks, user interfaces, as well as testing and debugging tools.
- You create software requirements, architectures, designs, and technical implementation concepts.
- You maintain requirements and test specifications at the system, component, and unit levels.
- You evaluate software architectures with regard to quality, cost, deadlines, and technical feasibility.
- You perform software tests, integrations, reviews, and verifications and document the results.
- You coordinate with customers, development teams, and adjacent specialist departments.
- You support the planning and implementation of work packages as well as during the later maintenance phase.
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Technical Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, or a comparable technical field
- Alternatively, training as a Fachinformatiker with corresponding further training and several years of professional experience
- Very good knowledge of modern C as well as experience with low-level programming
- Knowledge of Python and experience in a Linux development environment
- Sound experience in Requirements Engineering and in the formulation of clear, verifiable requirements
- Knowledge of software architecture, software design, and structured development processes
- Several years of professional experience in software development
- Experience with agile working methods as well as a structured and team-oriented way of working
- Very good English skills, German skills are an advantage
