Role Description The Contributing Writer role is a part-time remote position focused on producing original news articles, features, and analysis aligned with News Jaunts’ editorial standards. Day-to-day tasks include researching assigned topics, conducting interviews where appropriate, and pitching story ideas that reflect current events and emerging issues. The Contributing Writer will draft and revise content, incorporate editorial feedback, and ensure articles are accurate, clear, and engaging. The role also involves collaborating with editors and other contributors, meeting deadlines, and adhering to ethical journalism practices and style guidelines.

Qualifications

Strong reporting and research abilities, including gathering information from diverse sources and verifying facts.
