Job Description ? *Janitorial Cleaner ( Monday - Friday )*

*Position:* Janitorial Cleaner *Number of Cleaners:* 2 *Rate:* $20.00/hour *Schedule:* Seasonal / variable hours

The Janitorial Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, safe, and presentable facility. The cleaner will perform routine janitorial duties in accordance with the established cleaning schedule and site requirements.

*Key Responsibilities:*

• Clean and disinfect washrooms, including toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, counters, and fixtures.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and spot-clean floors.
• Empty garbage and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean entrances, common areas, hallways, offices, and other assigned spaces.
• Wipe and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, switches, railings, and counters.
• Clean interior glass, doors, and other accessible glass surfaces as required.
• Replenish washroom and janitorial supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Perform periodic/detail cleaning according to the site schedule.
• Maintain janitorial rooms, equipment, and supplies in an organized condition.
• Report maintenance issues, damages, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow WHMIS, PPE, health and safety, and site-specific procedures.
• Complete cleaning checklists or other required service documentation.
