Your tasks
- Install and configure CCTV, access control, alarm, intercom and other security systems.
- Carry out cable laying, termination and equipment installation.
- Test and commission systems and ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair system and equipment faults.
- Attend service calls and perform preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with customers.
- Complete service reports, installation checklists and other site documentation.
- Ensure all work complies with site safety and company requirements.
- Perform other technical and site duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics, IT, Security Systems or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant technical experience or certifications will also be considered.
- 2–3 years of experience in security systems, electrical, or related industries is preferred.
- Perform Work At Height Certificate
- Basic knowledge of CCTV, access control, alarm or intercom systems is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of cabling, wiring and IP networking is preferred.
- Able to use hand tools and basic testing equipment.
- Willing to travel to different customer sites.
- Willing to work overtime, weekends or standby when required.
- Responsible, hardworking, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team.
